Who is Kalorik?

Established in Belgium in 1930, the Kalorik name has become synonymous with superior engineering and cutting-edge innovation. It was one of the first small appliance manufacturers in Europe to develop the electric toaster.

Kalorik’s mission has been to engineer the latest groundbreaking technologies and make life and cooking faster, easier, and healthier for the modern man or woman. Nearly a century later, Kalorik remains at the forefront of innovation, evolving and adapting its products to fit ever-changing lifestyles.

What was the problem?

The Kalorik team wasn’t sure what rates are a fair ask for a company their size or how to navigate the negotiation process. They recently renewed their agreement 6 months before we starting working together, but had no real way to validate and track the savings. When we dug into the data, it turns out that there was $1 million in annual savings available to Kalorik through a targeted carrier negotiation.

How we solve the problem?

Datashyp automated our whole process of filing, tracking, and collecting refunds for all lost and damaged packages. We integrated our daily order feed with Datashyp’s platform to identify which products are tied to each tracking number. Now, when one of our packages is lost or damaged in transit, Datashyp automatically links the tracking number to the contents within the package in question, generates a commercial invoice, and auto-files the claim with our carrier.
